How to Make a Jack-o-Lantern

We are going to make a scary jack-o-lantern to scare the trick-or-treaters that come around. If you scare the people away, then nobody will come to your house to say "trick or treat" and take all of your candy.

First, we need a pumpkin, a spoon, a permanent marker, a large sharp knife, a little pumpkin-carving knife, and a candle. Pick the pumpkin up and take it to the table. Cut the top of the pumpkin with the large sharp knife. Then use a spoon to scoop out the seeds. If you don't have a spoon, you can use a plastic bag and put your hand inside of it and grab all the seeds out. Next, draw the eyes, nose, and mouth with the marker. After that, cut out the face with the small knife. Now use the candle and put it inside of the jack-o-lantern. Finally, light the candle with a lighter or a match and put the top back on. Take the jack-o-lantern outside and put it outside of your door on your porch until Halloween is over. That is how you make a scary jack-o-lantern to scare kids so they won't get your candy! Then you will have a great Halloween sharing the candy with your family.
