Last Monday I tried my ready-to-go lesson on past simple and past continuous with my students...
it really worked. In fact, they enjoyed the practice. I had planned it for the day before the exam on that topic.
Now I'll see if the results of the test are better than expected.

My opinion is that they are a good way of having all the tasks organized and  classified, so students can have a clear idea of what they have to do.

In my view, these ready to go lessons are useful because, if you prepare them in advance with enough time and carefully,
then you can keep a copy of them, and they will come in handy when having to prepare a lesson at the last moment.
They stay focused on target language through various skills, what seems to me the most interesting thing (this variety and holistic communicative approach).
What I find a little tough is that sometimes it is very hard to find the right listening or reading focused on the specific target language you want to use.
Another disadvantage is that our students can score themselves by doing the activities and we, as a teachers, can't check it out appropriately.

Hi!
I think ready-to-go lessons are really useful! I don't think having to update them is a problem since it's always necessary
to update most of our material periodically so that it suits our new students best. I find updating much easier than preparing a new lesson.
As for the students grading themselves, I don't think that should be a problem either. Most of our students are perfectly able to assess themselves and learn from their mistakes.
Obviously, this is not the only kind of activity we'll do in our class, so there will be plenty of oportunities for us to check their work.
And I find ready-to-go lessons can be great for early finishers - why not giving them some extra work that doesn't add to our list of work to be corrected?

They are very useful and they are a good idea because in this way everything is its box, I mean, organized for students.
they enjoyed the idea of using my web when I tried it with them and they are waiting for next session. Incredible! but they want to do english activities now! Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone,
Sorry for taking so long to reply.
I want to share with you that my readytogo lessons have been a great success. Batxillerat as well as ESO students have enjoyed them.
The feedback I have from them is that they are appealing, varied and also gives them a sense of guidance in contrast to surfing and
working on the same webpages. Enjoy your WE!
